In today's tough economy sales are taking a beating, so it is important to take advantage of every sales opportunity.  How do we do that?  One way some of our wholesale and retail customers have been accomplishing this is through the use of drop shipping.  It's a great way to expand your inventory without cost if you are a retailer (web or brick and mortar), and a great way to get your product in front of more potential customers if you are a wholesaler.

If you are a traditional brick and mortar seller you have limited square footage. You can only carry a finite number of items.  If a customer comes into your store and you don't have what they are looking for you may miss out on a sale. But, if you work with drop shippers you can carry just about every item out there and have the item shipped directly to you or the customer, and have the customer pay for the item while in your store.  This not only helps you sell more, but it helps you retain more customers.  You don't want your customer going to another store because you didn't have what they were looking for. Do you?  With the addition of drop shipping you create more sales opportunities and your customer will have a great shopping experience.  If you have a web site for your store this would also give you a larger presence on the web with a larger number of items to sell.  While you might only carry 1500-2000 items in your store, you could easily carry 10,000 + items in your web store using drop shipping.  One thing is for sure, you will make more sales simply by having more items.  Remember, you can't sell something if you don't have it, and with drop shipping you can have 5 to 10 times more items than you have today.

For wholesalers, drop shipping is a great way to get your product in front of more people.  No matter the product, the higher the number of eyes that look at it, the higher the sales.  With drop shipping you can get your product in more stores in front of more people, through the web or brick and mortar.

We are seeing the success of drop shipping first hand with some of our customers.  One of our wholesalers, www.n-finiplaywear.com, recently added the drop shipping feature to their web store and they have had a great response from it.  They are now getting sales from clients they did not have in the past.

Some of our web retailers are seeing the same value in drop shipping.  One particular client usually carries an average of 1800-2200 items in their web store, all items were held in their warehouse.  Since they added drop shipping they now have over 12,000 items in their web store.

To help our wholesale and retail clients step into drop shipping we have added a way to do this in our Gozooko 1 product.  With this feature, you can easily add items from a vendor who has an application interface available to their system, typically called an API. (If they are a Gozooko 1 wholesaler this is built into their service)  This easy to use feature is called Gozooko Easy Load. With Gozooko Easy Load you can load the entire catalog of N-FiniPlaywear.com and Eldorado.net in under 10 minutes.  That is 10,000 pictures, descriptions, and pricing in less than 10 minutes.  This would normally take you 4-6 months working all day everyday adding each item individually, and that is even using our easy to use system.  If you are using some of the other web sites out there it could take you a year or more.  We built this feature because we recognize time is money, and we also know that for our wholesale customers one of the toughest things out there is getting their items listed, so this was a simple way for us to help them do that.  Another great feature of the Gozooko 1 system is that if you are a web retailer and you use Eldorado or N-Fini Playwear as a drop shipper, your sales are processed totally hands free.  This means you don't have to touch anything when a sale is made.  The order is automatically sent to N-Fini Playwear or Eldorado for processing. This feature saves our retail clients a huge amount of time and puts more money into their pockets.

There are other functions in the Gozooko 1 drop shipping feature to help our clients run their drop shipping operations, and our wholesaler's customers don't have to be Gozooko customers to create drop ship orders.  There is an simple to use interface for their non-Gozooko customers to enter their drop ship orders through the web store.  This helps them efficiently process drop ship orders as if they were a regular web order.  Less work for the wholesaler and the retailer as well.
